Nola was such a trooper today for her surgery.  Everyone at the Humane Society went on about how she was such a wonderful kitty.  (And I know they probably say that about all the animals, but they really meant it for Nola.)  I picked her up this afternoon and she was still groggy from the meds, but she purred when I pet her.  I took her to class with me and she sat in the front of the room, in her carrier, and was the best little EMT mascot ever!  She still doesn't get to have any food tonight, but I can give her some tomorrow.  She will probably be starving by then.  And, I have to try to find a way to keep her calm for the next 2 weeks.  She isn't really a calm cat, especially when she has three other animals to play with.
