Unrequested gift

Do you ever get a gift from someone and you know that they had the best of intentions in giving it, but you're just not sure what was going through their mind when they gave it to you?  I got one of those gifts today.  I'm sure that it was given in love, but I have no need for it whatsoever; and I am going to have to put some effort into getting rid of it.

I know that my dogs love me, but seriously?  I don't need a half-mangled robin on my back deck.
