Today is the Boston Marathon! I never thought that I would be excited about 28,000 people running through Boston, but suddenly my life is full of running and endurance dreams. I hope to be a marathoner this year. While I have no plans of ever running a BQ (Boston Qualifier), I can't wait until I can personally understand the pain and joy of completing 26.2 miles. Personally, I am cheering for Ryan Hall. He is an amazing runner to watch. And of course, I would love an American to take the prize. On the women's side, most of the elite runners with a chance to win are foreigners, but I can't wait to see how they tackle the course. I am hoping to see part of the race before I have to go to work. I'll be watching it online. But now, I have to go run my own 8 miles. This week is a bit of a taper week leading up to Saturday's Crazy Legs run in Madison.
